Santi, a bit smoother in English:「このこと、とても言いづらかった」
This (thing) was very hard to tell (speak).
~づらい is almost the same as ~にくい (To be hard to do something).
How to make this form?
Just put the ます形+づらい/にくい
I.e.: 言いづらい、行きづらい、など。
¡Saludos!
Santi.
What does this phrase mean?
KONO KOTO TOTEMO IIZURAKATA
Specially "iizurakata" I don´t understand.
Yoroshiku onegaishimasu.
I am wondering if repeating "to say" twice (iu and ii) is necessary. I myself would say "kono koto-wa totemo iidzurakata." Topic marker -wa may be omitted in casual speech. The better Japanese sentence is " Kono koto wo iu no wa iizurakatta."
