I'll ever go / I'll never go

Oh I cannot explain
Every time it's the same
Oh I feel that it's real
Take my heart
I've been lonely too long
Oh I can't be so strong
Take a chance for romance
Take my heart
I need you so
There's no time
I'll ever go

I say to myself that "I'll ever go" doesn't make sense and the singer should have said "I'll never go".

What do you think?

Thank you.

There's no time I'll ever go = There will be no time at which I'll ever leave / go away. = The occasion will not arise upon which I will ever depart. (Ever is merely emphatic.)
