I'm bowling them

    Hello,
    I'm always in my wire-walker's story :) and as the man is walking on the rope, he says to his son : "I'm bowling them, son!" and then he falls down from the wire.
    What does mean "Im bowling them" here ? (= I'm falling over ??)

    Je pense que l'idée est "I'm bowling them over" = Je les bouleverse (les = le public).

    Mais il n'y a pas de public. L'homme s'entraîne dans son jardin avec son fils.

    Ah, alors c'est l'autre sens de bowl = lancer/rouler une balle. "C'est moi qui les jette" (= c'est moi qui mène le jeu) ????
