I'm inclined lyrically

Senior Member

I need to translate the following sentence and I'm not sure I know what it means.

"Everyone is allowed one addiction and mine is poetry. And I overdose so much, that I'm inclined lyrically."

Does anyone know what the girl means by "I'm inclined lyrically"?

Thank you!

I'm a bit surprised by the word order, as I'd expect it to follow the same pattern as here: artistically-inclined, in which case something like j'ai la fibre artistique might work here too. But perhaps the word order is meant to emphasize the tilted/off-balance aspect of the word inclined. Je suis penché/je me penche vers la lyrique ?
