Does "I'm not bragging. Okay, maybe I am, a little" mean "I'm not bragging. Okay, maybe I am, a little bragging"?

Thanks in advance

I'm not bragging. Okay, maybe I am, a little. But my point is that I was doing what journalists are supposed to do: question claims even if--especially if—they come from authoritative sources.

"Okay, maybe I am, a little bragging." :cross:
"Okay, maybe I am bragging a little." :tick:

You have the right idea that "a little" modifies "bragging".
