I'm worried about you, I was worried about you

< Previous | Next >

Hello guys,

I wanted to say 2 phrases: "I'm worried about you." and "I was worried about you." - for the 1st, I got the translation "אני דואג לך"; for the 2nd, I got "הייתי מודאג ממך". Why is that, two different adjectives? Could I say, for example, "אני מודאג לך" or "הייתי דואג ממך"?

Todah! :)

It depends on the context, but usually it's אני דואג/ת לך or אני מודאג/ת בגללך for the first one and דאגתי לך for the second one.
