Can you use the verb imagine as an adjective in the following example:

It's a story that is imagined.

Meaning: a story like a tall story, a story that somebody has invented, that isn't true.

    If it is not true, it is fiction. If it is true, it is non-fiction.

    Adjectives can modify "fiction", such as "fantastical fiction", "Bunyanesque fiction", "wildly imaginative fiction", etc.
