ti fornisco dei sinonimi, effettivamente imbestialito non è un termine simpatico da usare.

adirato, spazientito, arrabbiato (non tanto corretto da dire ma usato spessissimo), irritato, furente, furibondo. (angry, very angry in this case)

I think you could render "imbestialito" as "red with anger" or "furious"

yeap! is when you are very furious! it comes from the similarity with furioso come una bestia... tipo un maiale selvatico(wild pig can be very furious)
