Hello there!

I am currently working on a Company secretary software localisation and the term "immatriculations" appears on its own in one of the menu I have to translate.

Does anyone know the french term for this word? I think it does refer to the registration of companies...

Many thanks for your help!

    Hello,

French companies have what's called "un numéro SIREN" and one or more "numéros SIRET". The SIREN number is attributed to the company when it's created or officially registered (googling for it will give more detailed info). However this is a specific administrative notion so the term might not match exactly with the intented purpose of the field. You can also go for "numéro d'identification" or "numéro d'enregistrement de l'entreprise" which are more generic.
