Oftentimes, I don't know how to get rid of my confusion when it comes to the usage of INDEFINIDO and IMPERFECTO especially when it comes to supplying the correct verbs in the blanks. Before, I used to look at the time phrases (ayer, anoche, etc.) and realized that I have to use indefinido but in some sentences it seems that even if there is ayer, anoche, el domingo pasado... imperfecto can still be used. Are there some techniques to help me understand better? thanks!
