Hello, if you are in your birthday suit you are naked. Many European languages use the phrase "Adam's costume". I am not sure about Portuguese, do you say "em trajes Adao"? :confused: Thanks.

    The first phrase that comes to mind is "como veio ao mundo" ("the same way he/she came into this world").

    I agree. It's the usual way of saying in Portugal too, but we also have (had? I've not heard it for a long time) an expression that explicitly alludes to Adam, 'à pai Adão'. If I say that someone is dressed 'à pai Adão', it means that the person is naked.
