Hello everybody,
I am a little bit "stucked" on a quite simple sentence  where the "mid-January" expression is involved. Using "in" before it, makes it sound odd to me. So I would like to know if this sentence sounds correct to you in AE.
The context is a student sending an email in November prior to pass his exam in January.
My try is:
"I am contacting you in order to explore what are going to be my future options after i get my CRA graduation mid-January"
OR should I write:
"in order to explore what are going to be my future options after i get my CRA graduation IN mid-January".
Thank-you
