in property different in kind from any other share

I am translating a will and the confusing paragraph says so:
"To make distribution in kind and to cause any share to be composed of cash, property or undivided fractional shares in property different in kind from any other share, regardless of differences in costs for income tax purposes"
The underlined text is the troublesome one. It seems as if the expression "undivided fractional shares in property different in kind from any other shares" would be redundant.

It does, rather. Sound redundant that is. But you did know that lawyers 500 or more years ago were paid by the word, and not for clarity?

I'll make a game attempt at this.

to make distribution in kind: [dividir entre los herederos, o beneficiarios, según proceda] (distribuir) en especie ...

[So now, at this point, I have to stop and ask for more information from you. To wit,
whose voice does the will represent? Are the beneficiaries of the will shareholders in a company, or are they family members who are receiving equal shares of an inheritance?]
