    We could use some more context, please. Is this a chapter in a textbook, for example?

    I think that you can probably understand "node" as "module" or "self-contained section", but we would need more information to be sure.

    Well yeah it's from a textbook, about creativity, and this chapter's title is "Discursive Terms and the Criteria of Creativity".

    So far it talked about "discourses" in Foucault's philosophy particularly his book Archeology of Knowledge. Then "In this node, I begin my discussion with a brief review of the literature on creativity in the field of creativity research."
