Guys, please, tell me. What are curries? I'm an entrant English teacher. This word was in the student's book but I really don't have an idea what it could be. It's "Indiana curries" and it's something to eat.

"Indian curries" are spicy stews or sauces that are the primary feature of Indian cuisine. They use complex mixtures of spices, and most of them are delicious.

(Actually, curry is in the WordReference dictionary, and can be found by putting the word in the search box at the top of the page.)

You should always check there before you start a thread. You may find your answer right away. :))

I would have expected them to be Indian curries, however, as Owlman's post suggests.
Indiana is a state in the US, and I don't know of any curries associated with it.
