VENDEUR à concurrence de UN TIERS (1/3) INDIVIS en PLEINE PROPRIETE.

Hi all,

This is taken from a Power of Attorney and I'm trying to translate "Individis en pleine propriété". I just want to confirm if this means that the 3rd is undivided and is under "unrestricted ownership"?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

In your case, there are 3 undivided co-owners (indivis), therefore owning 1/3 of the property each, under unrestricted ownership.

Indivis is related to "indivision" which means joint ownership OR undivided.
It *could* also be that the seller is selling is "share" in the joint ownership of 3 people, this joint ownership being unrestricted.
So it's either a third of the asset, or a third or the joint ownership. Which may or may not be the same in the end.
