Example sentence "The rules should mesh and supplement with each other in theory but most times that doesn't prove itself in practice."

"supplement with each other" is grammatically incorrect. Presumably "mesh with and supplement each other" is meant, although I'm not sure that - or "prove itself" - is 100% idiomatic either. (And nor is "most times" in UK English - can the sentence be marked as US English or phrased more neutrally?)
