    Hi,

I'm attempting to translate the following sentence from a article about social media adoption levels in Latin America

But I am having trouble understanding what it is trying to say. Can anyone help me with it?

Welcome to the forum. Here is a possible translation:

Clearly the influence of a Facebook message is much greater at a national level in Chile or Puerto Rico than in Brazil. Althought the population in absoloute numbers is greater in Brazil not even 8% of the population are Facebook users.

Note: I suspect that Facebook users in Brazil are closer to 10% of the population.
