ingestion frequency

Hi, when market researchers ask "How often do you buy this product?" in a survey, they say that the question is for measuring purchase frequency. I'm wondering if it's appropriate to use "ingestion frequency" the same way when the question is "How often do you take this medicine"?
Please see the following example I created, imagining it is part of a survey report.

3. Awareness of OTC Cold Medicine Brands
4. Purchase Frequency
Ingestion Frequency

...and the list goes on.

The word "ingestion" seems too specific/accurate to me, so I find "Ingestion Frequency" a little odd. Maybe it should be "Usage Frequency" or something similar?

It sounds strange in relation to medicine. What about 'dosage frequency'?
