Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program

Je travaille sur un texte concernant l'apprentissage-service (service-learning en anglais).

Ayant lu les fils sur "exchange program", il m'est difficile de trouver une traduction appropriée pour "Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program".

Voilà le contexte et ma tentative de traduction:

(...) The solidarity modality consists of courses taught at two prisons where students from campus learn alongside incarcerated students. Faculty are trained as part of an international program known as the Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program.(...)

(...) [...] connu sous le nom de Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program (Programme d’échange entre la prison et l’extérieur).

Mais cela ne me convainc pas... Merci beaucoup pour votre aide !

Ce qui me gêne avec le mot "échange" (ou même "échanges") c'est qu'on pourrait croire à un réel échange d'étudiant (l'un va étudier en prison, et le prisonnier va sur le campus). Je propose "Programme universitaire Campus-Prison".

I don't think that apprentissage-service would be understood in France... I would keep "service-learning" in your French translation and add a footnote explaining the concept, e.g. formation en alternance des métiers du social/de l'humanitaire.
To explain the "Inside Out" programme, you would need to say that the training is "ouvert aux détenu(e)s en réinsertion ou effectuant des travaux d'intérêt général" or something to that effect. A bit lengthy, I know.

Merci beaucoup pour votre aide, jetset, Topsie et wildan1 ! Vous m'avez permis d'y voir plus clair. Malheureusement, il me faut conserver "apprentissage-service" parce que le terme m'a été imposé par le client car déjà employé dans d'autres traductions pour la même institution, j'ai eu beau discuter là-dessus...
