This expression was used at the end of an email from an Italian friend ... can you translate please?

    Welcome to WF

Meanwhile/in the meantime, I am sending you a hug and I hope to hear from you soon.

We don't normally 'send hugs' in English, but Italians can be very flowery and over the top when it comes to greetings compared to us Anglo-Saxons :)

Thank you all for the forum welcome and for your answers.

So, Memimao, I guess I am supposed to insert my sentence and/or words to be translated into the box at the top of the thread before posting it in a new thread? I did try to translate this somewhere else but was stuck on "sentirti".

I am trying to learn Italian in my spare (ha!) time ... but get lazy every now and then. ;-)
