Hello, I would want to know if the expression "International touring car racing" should be translated with "turismo automobilistico internazionale" or "gran turismo internazionale".

the sentence in its context is "Already established as a sponsor in
International Touring Car racing..."

    Direi : Corse/gare automobilistiche internazionali

    Touring è riferito (almeno penso) alle macchine sportive a due porte
     
    con "corse automobilistiche internazionali" si perde sia il senso che le auto debbano essere sportive, sia non viene reso il termine "turismo". Ho trovato il corrispettivo di "touring car racing" e sarebbe "turismo (automobilistico)". Quindi credo la frase di debba rendere con "turismo automobilistico internazionale".
