Hi,

Question:
Is my understanding of "introduction of and introduction to" correct?

Sentence:
Hi, today, my presentation topic is introduction of / to savings accounts.

My understanding:

Introduction of mean:
I will talk about what is a savings account, how a saving account works and features of savings accounts.
Introduction to mean:
We have no saving account, so I want to lanuch savings account now.

Thanks

    You would probably say:

Hi, today, my presentation topic is an introduction to savings accounts
(where you explain what they are, how they work and their features)

Hi, today, my presentation topic is the introduction of savings accounts
(would imply you are going to talk about when savings accounts were created or first introduced into society...)

    hope this helps!
