    Does "May the road rise to meet you" mean something like "Let there be a road for you"?
    Perhaps, this may turn out to be helpful :) :

    As to "May the road rise up to meet you" - this means may your steps be easy, may it appear as if the path rises up to your foot as you put it down, lessening the effort involved in going forward. It is not a wish for an uphill struggle, or for firm ground upon which to walk. As the full phrase implies, it is a wish that you have things easy.
