The customer wants to buy carton from me and I want to ask what size he wants.

Is there any specific requirement on/for the size of the box?
Should I use on or for?

In formal English we would use "with respect to" or an equivalent expression. In everyday English we generally shorten this to on or for - I would say it's a personal style choice, since neither really mean exactly the same as the original.
