How would you translate the sentence "Is there still rice?" ? (is there some rice left?)

I think it would be "may pa bang kanin" but I'm not sure

The most common form is May kanin pa ba?

An alternate and more formal way to say it is Mayroon pa bang kanin?

    Mayroon
is frequently shortened in colloquial speech to meron:

    Meron pa bang kanin?
