I can't seem to find what exactly the expression means --- I get the sense of it, but the only translations I find are about actual beasts or horses... which in my context won't fit.
I am translating the transcript of a video where someone explains how an algorithm works. The person reviews a few extra options but says they won't get into detail for all of them, and especially for one which is "its own beast".
How would you translate that in French?
Here's the sample phrase (it is about satellite imagery): Anyways, these are the two approaches for Landsat and Sentinel 2. I won’t discuss Sentinel 1 here because that is its own beast.
My try: En tout cas, voilà quelles sont les deux approches en ce qui concerne Landsat et Sentinel 2. Je n’aborderai pas du tout Sentinel 1 car il s'agit là d'une toute autre histoire (?)
