Hello :)

Are both sentences grammatically correct?

1. It is that woman who I saw last night.
2. It was that woman who I saw last night.

Tank you!

I saw this question in the book.
I wonder what the answer is. (Is the answer 'It is' or 'It was'?)

I saw that woman last night.
= that woman who I saw last night.

    In which book, please?

The two sentences do have different meanings. We can’t tell you which is correct if we don’t know which meeting is intended.
