Good day to you. I want to ask you if I can say: It thrills me a great deal instead It thrills me a lot. Please, I rather native english replyins above all.

    Yes, you can say "It thrills me a great deal" but you would sound like an old person, or like something out of a novel. Even "It thrills me a lot" sounds strange to my ears.

    I agree.

    I'd say 'I'm absolutely thrilled' or 'I'm completely thrilled'

    Like an old person = hablar or portarse como un viejito.

    Like something out of a novel = como un personaje en un libro.
