Someone said that I'm professional when it comes to work. Can I say to him in an email the following:

"It's really a certificate that I can proud of"

Note: We as Arab can use something like that in such a context.

The clarification:
I wanted to say to him that what he said is like a certificate or an honor.

I would use testimonial if I were a cereal company and I had it in writing (Wheaties, Breakfast of Champions, and a favorite of Lou Gehrig). As a person talking to someone who paid me a verbal compliment, I would thank him for the compliment. (And might add, humorously and humbly, that it's better than a medal.)
