Hello, everyone :)
Can anyone help me out with this phrase "jeu apéro"? It is posted on a French travel portal and is part of the following phrase: Pour les adultes, sports, tournois, ateliers se relaient toute la journée entre 9h et 18h puis la soirée débute : jeu apéro, soirée, spectacle et discothèque jusqu'à 2h."
I'm considering smth like "aperitif is served" or "a glass of aperiti" ...

    • Usually, "Les jeux apero" are games (questions to answer or other action to do) that allow the winners to earn a drink. If you're good, you can earn a lot of drink in the same evening. ;)

    je pense qu'il s'agit d'un jeu à boire sinon je ne vois pas bien l'interêt de préciser qu'il se déroule à l'apéro!!

    I believe that tourists would be more attracted if the game gives out drinks as a prize ;-)

    Drinks have always been given as prizes every time I've played.

    Although linguistically and legally that may not be necessary, there will be a lot of disappointed holiday makers if they don't .
