Hola foreros,

Pueden ayudarme con esta frase, por favor?

Is my translation from EN into SP correct?: 'El trabajo está escasea en este momento.'

Context: I need to convey to the person that there are very few translation jobs from English into Slovak these days.

Gracias de antemano.

    Querido Miguel Antonio,

Muchas gracias por tu ayuda. Much appreciated.

I would like to add to this sentence the following bit: 'I do not know why/what's going on, but English into Slovak jobs have been really thin on the ground/far and between recently.'

Is is OKish to translate the above as follows?:
No sé que pasa, pero el trabajo de inglés en eslovaco han escaseando/se contando con los dedos de las manos recientemente o últimamente.

Apologies for my terrible Spanish :(

    Otra opción sería:
No sé qué pasa, pero últimamente las traducciones del inglés al eslovaco han disminuido/ son muy pocas/ escasean...

Apologies for my terrible Spanish :(

If you're referring to the fact that the number of people (e.g. at a meeting, at your place of work, etc) are fewer than normal, how would you say "We're a bit thin on the ground today"?

    Somos pocos hoy [?]

    Thanks
