What is the meaning of "Johnny-one-note-parents " in the following sentence?

Traister, who has been a stay-at-home dad for nearly four years, suggests that we Johnny-one-note-parents deserve pity, not contempt.

I got it from here.

If I add the preceding sentence it may help.

... a response, of sorts, to those childless folks (you’ve met some of them here on Motherlode over the past year) who are so very tired of self-centered and self-righteous parents who can talk about nothing but their children. Traister, who has been a stay-at-home dad for nearly four years, suggests that we Johnny-one-note-parents deserve pity, not contempt.

It seems that "Johnny-one-note" parents are those who "can talk about nothing but their children".

Johnny-one-note, not surprisingly, was able to sing only one note.
The parents in question are able to talk about only one thing - their children.
