just to make sure

I'm writing to you just to make sure I understand you correctly.

Je vous écris juste pour m'assurer que je vous comprends correctement.

Is this a good translation? The context is, we met in person and discussed a lot of things. Does "juste" sound odd in the French translation?

Merci d'avance.

Sounds good. As a slight improvement, I suggest "que je vous ai bien compris".
