I want to talk about a kidney dish, when describing a medical event. From the dictionary I have translated this as " une petite assiette en form de haricot". Is this the best translation?

Many thanks

I googled: materiel medical haricot and got a picture of a kidney dish labelled "haricot en inox".

Sorry, I can't post a link because it is a commercial site, but I hope it is some use. Obviously this one was stainless steel, but there were other types.

Yes, Pyan is right. But all "haricots" are not necessarily in inox though :p
    "a kidney dish" = "un haricot" :)
