Are these sentences correct:

1-Do you know of any man wounded by an owl?
2-Do you know of a man wounded by an owl?

(possible answer: Yes. I once heard that a man in a village next to mine was wounded by an owl.)

    2 is fine how it is

    1 seems as though you could add "that has been" or "that was" before the word wounded.

    You want to know if any man has ever been wounded by an owl.

    2-Do you know of a man wounded by an owl?
    Suggests that you know that a man has been wounded by an owl (recently) and you want to know more about him.
