Hi

I've just watched a video from Ellen Show. I heard a sentence like that:

"Her daughter Kriss, you know, had the baby was born"

It does not say 'had' in subtitles but I'm sure that Ellen says something sounds like 'had'. I might have misheard tough. I need help:(

I think she started to say "had a baby", then changed it to "the baby was born". It was a natural hesitation, not a word.

Yes, but she didn't even say "had" (I saw and listened to the clip). She just began to say "ha..." Mina must have a very good ear to even have noticed it. :)
