Hi everybody! I'm working on a technical manual of a French heat pump and I can't understand the meaning of lanceur in the following sentence:

" [...] Les circulateurs se mettent en fonctionnement pour permettre le dégazage de l'installation. Si ce n'est pas le cas, après avoir retiré le bouchon du lanceur à l'aide d'un tournevis à large lame, dégommer le circulateur".

Any idea? Everything I found on dictionaries seems not suitable for this context.

"un lanceur" is usually an equipment which is only used for the start of an engine or another device. You could call it a "starter" I guess (in English, because this name does exist in French and doesn't mean the same thing).

En français, on utilise starter tel quel.
