Can anyone help me? I have been reading a software programme relevant to designing (progettazione) and have come across the sentence "una volta lanciati i calcoli, il software crea una serie di pagine"...
does this mean "once all calculations have been completed, the software issues a series of pages"? Thanks

Literally it should be once the calculations have started; but I think that somehow it can be intended the way you wrote. Probably because the time elapsing from the start of the calculations to their completion is definitely short!

No I think it means once launched the software will create a series of pages.
