Does anybody knows what's the meaning in Spanish of "lashing cost"?
FYR it's related to shipping business.

Other than "the shipping industry", can you provide us a bit more context... meaning, is it maritime law, cargo transport? You get the idea.
Furthermore, if you could give us the whole sentence, that'd also be VERY helpful.

It was a reply that I receive regarding a cargo shipping transportation, and the sentence says:
" As a matter of facts, Shipper had told us they wld hv moved piece With their own transporter and asked us to reduce the lashing costs"

transporte marítimo:
lashing point: punto de amarre

deduzco, entonces, que
lashing costs: costos de amarre
es decir que desean reducir los costos de amarre.
Espero haber sido de ayuda.
