Last, ultimate or final phase

Castellano, España
Hello! What option is correct or sounds better in English?

Last phase, ultimate phase or final phase?

I am talking about these three phases: preliminary phase, exploratory phase and final phase.
Thank you.

Final probably sounds best out of these options, but doesn't give any indication of what happens during that phase, unlike "preliminary" and "exploratory". A more descriptive term like "implementation" might be better.
