Hi again, always the same article.
Extract: "Rory Delap had earlier given City the lead, latching onto a James Beattie pass and chipping over Petr Cech."
My attempt of translation: "Rory Delap aveva dato il vantaggio al City, utilizzando/mettendo in rete :confused: un passaggio di James Beattie e saltando :confused::confused: Petr Cech."

    "Controllando" sounds good to me. Maybe the second part can be translated as"controllando un passaggio di James Beattie e battendo Petr Cech con un tocco sotto"
    Con "tocco sotto" si intende che il portiere è stato scavalcato dal pallone con una sorta di pallonetto/lob. Pensi vada bene?
