Laughing = Laugh

A: She looks very hot and sometimes she........, ha ha ha.
B: Hey! Why are you laughing? / Why do you laugh?

- Did I use the right two clauses here "Why.........laughing?" and "Why...........laugh?"? :)

    In these cases I would say "why are you laughing?" and "why are you crying?" I can't think of an instance when you would say "why do you laugh/cry?" in regular conversation. Hope this helps! :)
