Le cose stanno così, punto!

I was wondering how other people would translate that "punto!" as an emphatic end to just about any statement. I was thinking of "and that's that!", but I wonder if there are other, better options. Over to you!

    Hi, TheHarper,
When I want to end a conversation on a particular topic I say Period or end of the story

Great ideas, thank you all! My favourite is 'That's the way it is and that's all there is to it', and I love how, for once, the Italian form is more succinct ('Period' doesn't sound great to British ears!). I often get students who, when listing various things, end with 'pane, formaggio e... Stop', which they try to use in the same way when talking English, so 'bread, cheese and.... stop' which doesn't quite work. In those cases, I always suggest 'and... that's it.'
