Hi,
“She is due to teach a lecture on genetic engineering.”
I think “teach” used here is not correct. It should be “give”.
Am I right?

    "give a lecture" is correct. Please tell me if it is the only way to say about "lecture"?
    "deliver a lecture" -- is it possible?

    One can deliver a lecture, certainly, but it sounds a little more didactic than give, a little more ex cathedra, as though you were talking to people beneath you. It also sounds more like an admonition than an academic discourse.
