Can anyone suggest a translation for l'emulsion in the phrase:

"L'emulsion de cette envie de communiquer se fait ainsi en amont et en aval de ce projet."

Thanks!

  • Not easy to say....Not too much context....emulsion is a kind of mix (for instance between water and oil) but that doesn't match well.
This sentence seems strange to me...nice words, but unclear phrase :)

I guess it means "origin" or "emergence" here.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for these suggestions. It's one of these situations where I know what they mean but I can't quite pin it down in English.
