I don't understand you replies, I haave the same question though. I'm looking to say "Let him figure it out" So far I have
"Laisse lui trouve une solution"
I'm sure that's far from correct though.

Dans certains contextes:
Laisse le se débrouiller = let him figure it out.
Qu'il se débrouille tout seul!

Autre solution:
Laisse le mijoter (sous entendu, il réfléchit à une solution pendant ce temps, mais on ne va pas l'aider)
