Let vs allow

Hi everyone!

Do you think it's correct and unambiguous to use 'let' instead of 'allow' in a context like:

"This camera allows you to shoot a hundred frames per second."

,basically, as a synonym for 'enable' ?

    "Let" would be okay in that sentence. If you use it, you should remove "to" before "shoot": This camera lets you shoot a hundred frames per second.

    Yeah, I know: no 'to' after 'let' :thumbsup:
