Levantine Arabic: our turf

I would like to say:

We always sat at the back of the bus, it was our turf.
--- On s'asseyait toujours au fond du bus, c'était notre ter-ter.

My try:
كنا دايما منقعد بآخر الباص، كانت مملكتنا

Is there a better/more natural way of saying it ?
