Hello. I'm trying to understand what a "liberal arts student" is so that I can translate it into Spanish. I've been reading about Humanidades, Arte, etc. in other threads, but I know that a liberal arts education sometimes includes mathematics and science. The text I'm working on is about a liberal arts college, and they talk about management students, psychology students, etc. When this college defines itself as a liberal arts college, they mean "educación humanista", I know that for sure, but "educación humanista" is a broader term that refers to the educational purpose, even though students may earn a degree in Physics.
    I will appreciate any help.

I'm sorry but I've found the answer. In this case it refers to a liberal arts college student who is not in a professional program, i.e. who is in the first two years, when they receive general education. Thank you anyway.
